Regional Fellow Meeting Brussels 2007

The Foundation held its 15th Regional Fellow Meeting for the Benelux in Brussels on November 5, 2007.

Alumni Fellows were asked to prepare poster presentations on their research subjects in advance. Guests could walk around freely and ask questions on each topic. Following on from the presentations, guests were asked to make their way to the European Parliament where 2007 Invited lecturer, Troy Davis, gave his speech on Global Citizenship. His talk (click here for the text of the speech as a pdf-file) was responded to by Carl Schlyter, a Swedish politician and member of the European Parliament and for the Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance. After the event, the Canon Foundation hosted a reception at the European Parliament.
